Downtown Aquarius is located in Houston, Texas is a public aquarium as well as a restaurant that was developed from two Houston landmarks. The aquarium is a 6-acre site at Bagby Street in downtown Houston. Downtown Aquarium housed over 200 species of aquatic animals in 500,000 US gallons of the aquarium. The complex is including two restaurants, a banquet facility, and a bar. It offers programs like Zoologist for a Day, Marine Biologist for a Day, overnight stays, and more. The education department also works hand in hand with the school groups and also conducts outreach programs.

Downtown Aquarium is the product of redeveloping two downtown Houston landmarks – Fire Station No. 1 and the Central Waterworks Building. This magnificent six-acre entertainment and dining complex is a 500,000-gallon aquatic wonderland, home to over 300 species of aquatic life from around the globe. With a full-service restaurant, an upscale bar, a fully equipped ballroom, aquatic & geographic exhibits, shopping, and a variety of amusement.

Underwater adventure can get you hungry so might as well experience eating as you have seated around a floor to ceiling 150,000-gallon aquarium and have an excellent dining experience as they swim right by your tables like reticulated rays, moray eels, giant groupers, and shovel-nose guitarfish. Aquarium offers a variety of specialties such as seafood salads, chicken, pasta cuisines, and decadent desserts.
